Spring Bliss: A Two-Butterfly Day

I sat by Kokanee Creek today watching the dippers build their nest, displaying to each other and chasing a third dipper from the nest site. The warm sun and the roaring of the creek were my whole world while I sat there. Two early spring butterflies floated by on a soft breeze and finally landed to sun bathe near me.
Dippers, sun glinting on a glacial creek and a two-butterfly day.
Spring bliss indeed!

You are so lucky Jo! I just got another roaring fire going to warm us through another -15 night…Hope your spring temps are heading this way soon.
Spring was very early here Sandi – maybe next year it will be your turn!
