A Real Winter
Winter of 2016-17 has been a “real” winter. Very cold temperatures and blue skies with lots of deep powdery snow. I have had to keep a tap dripping to prevent burst pipes and the wood stove has burnt through a lot of wood but oh – the beauty! The sun leaves blue shadows and the moon casts twinkling diamonds on the snow. It is a joy to snowshoe and walk through the day. What a beautiful world!
I have shared some of my photos so far below. Enjoy!
