Bird’s Eye View
Male hummingbirds are exquisitely coloured. We have three hummingbirds here: the Rufous, the Calliope and the Black-chinned. All beautiful in my eyes. But what does a hummingbird see? Far more colours in the colour I call white than I will never see. The world probably appears far more vivid to a hummingbird’s eye view.
But I am OK with that. What I see of hummingbird colours makes up for it.
