Kokanee Otters!
I love Northern River Otters. Despite their reputation as “river wolves” and their propensity for trashing (and defiling!) boats, seeing an otter is still very special.
Below are two trail camera videos from Kokanee Creek Provincial Park. The first is “the best of” the 2015 summer otter videos and the second is a recent video of “otters on ice”.
Otters always seem to be having fun – not a bad way to start a new year!
