Among the Lilacs
My office window opens onto a flowering lilac tree that is visited by butterflies, hummingbirds, other birds and several really neat insects. A lilac bush grew outside my window when I was a girl. I loved the smell and colours then and I love them still.
Some of my most productive ideas and thoughts come to me when I am not staring at my computer screen. When I take time to see the amazing world around me, I count myself very lucky to have that lilac bush outside my window!
