Georgia on My Blog: Tracks and Sightings

April 20, 2014

People are usually not aware of the wildlife that shares their habitat. Animals may leave only tracks and sign or a glimpse as they return to the shadows.

Not so with Eastern Chipmunks or Grey Squirrels in Georgia!  The White-tailed Deer at the local golf courses are somewhat tame, but I saw them only as they ran full tilt over the greens to reach the forest on the other side.  The raccoons were more secretive, and  I heard only rumours of fox living in the area.

Here are some photos of the wildlife and tracks  from my time in Peachtree City Georgia.
