Piliated Woodpecker, Winter Wren and Robin Fledglings and…Youngsters!
I am having far too much fun as the naturalist at Kokanee Creek Provincial Park – I have rebloged my naturalist blog – enjoy!
Kokanee Creek Park Naturalist Notebook
This week was high energy at Kokanee Creek Visitors Centre. There were youngsters all over the place! From the fledgling Piliated Woodpeckers, Cedar Waxwings, Robins and Winter Wrens to Jerry’s Rangers and the kids taking part in Arts with Romani and the evening naturalist programs.
And we are eagerly awaiting the appearance of the first Kokanee Salmon in the spawning channel. The park is full of life!
