Practicing Flight: Bald Eagles
Those beautiful, long, and warm July days are here. July is the month when many young birds leave the nest and take on the world. This summer, I have had the extreme fortune to see two young Bald Eagles grow. Last week the young were still in the nest and practicing their flying as they waited for their parents to bring more food.
