Just One Photo

Just one photo. I sometimes think that I have too many photos to really value any one photo. But the world is, among other things, a collage of images. Sometimes an image can bring back sights, smells and sensations.. This photo is like that – it that evokes a spring day – a warm, sunny morning – when I watched two very young coyotes in a game of chase.

OK, coyotes are common in the park and near my home and I do see them or their tracks often enough. But I got to watch them play. I could have wandered by that morning, oblivious of the two coyote pups on the opposite bank. But I looked up at the right time and was allowed a peek into wild lives. The pups never did see me, probably because there was a noisy creek between us and I was somewhat hidden. Serendipity.

Time has passed and recollections can change. But it is a wonderful memory. A story that I can share with a photo. Maybe that is the value of a photo. Enjoy!
