And Three More Trumpeters

February 19, 2014

I have enjoyed watching Trumpeter Swans lately. Three more birds arrived the other day including one mottled immature bird and one very white bird. Most of the trumpeters I have seen have an orange-stained head from feeding in marshes. But one of the new arrivals is very, very white. These three birds spend more time together than with the five other swans. Perhaps they are a family.

I have shared some photos here.
