Longing for Yellow
Varied, brilliant yellows of a sunflower
I do love winter and the subtle interplay of white, blue and muted colours. But this morning I found myself longing for the vibrant yellows of summer. Here is some yellow for you too.
A Red-breasted Nuthatch searching for sunflower seeds – a subtle yellow
A Honey Bee foraging on a bright yellow sunflower
A Syrphid Fly (bee wannabe(e)) foraging in a world of yellow
A Yellow Hawkweed – radiating yellow.
