Curious Black Bear

I was experimenting with putting the trail cam on a tripod and placing it in what I hoped would be the midst of the action.  Some friends were interested in the wildlife using their yard at night and I set the tripod and trail cam up there.  First, we captured many White-tailed Deer bedding down.  The next few nights I moved the camera right into the middle of the previous nights’ deer activity.  Well, turns out we were not the only curious mammals in the neighbourhood!

The bear may have been curious, but the camera and tripod were still standing when he (or she) left.  The bear probably figured if it wasn’t edible then it was time to move on.
