A Pileated Woodpecker, Mountain Chickadees and Steller’s Jays

Some photos I took in the past couple of days. The Pileated Woodpecker male was giving the dead standing trees a good going over for insects. The Steller’s Jays were checking the feeder out for more food and the small Mountain Chickadee made a brief visit to the feeder. There are patches of grass showing and the birds are mining these for food too. Spring is inching closer….
